Aster
Only the one alien aster on the Delaware flora checklist still has the accepted name Aster. Most native species are now Symphyotrichum, the rest are Eurybia, Doellingeria, Ionactis, Sericocarpus, or Oclemena.

Aster tataricus, Tartarian Aster
Small lavender flowers on stems up to 8' tall; leaves up to 2' long. Rare escape from cultivation on the coastal plain.
